Consultation
In this stage of the design process, I listen to the challenges you are having with your space, review a questionnaire to uncover your needs, wants, lifestyle, and desired “feel” of the room to create a space that integrates form, function, and proper design aesthetics.
I will also take several measurements of your space in, so I can digitally render your desired rooms with appropriate dimensions to ensure any design meets the footprint of your space.
Creation
In the creation phase of the design process, I work diligently on developing many methods to bring my vision of your space to life. I create mood boards, SketchUp diagrams, pull samples, and create itemized budgets of every product I’m interested in bringing into the design.
This is the most time-intensive part of the overall design process, but also the most important as it lays the foundation for the future look and feel of newly designed home.
Installation
I work hands-on with my installer to hang pictures, mirrors and other décor. We install window treatments, light fixtures, and more to bring the design vision to life. Because no client or project is the same, I also work with contractors, painters, and suppliers for projects that require remodeling and/or construction.
Lastly, I apply the finishing touches of greenery, textiles, and décor to your new space to transform your house into a home you will love.
